Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Let's take it back to the basics - hard "boiled" eggs. We really  didn't think there would be much difference between making hard boiled eggs over the stovetop vs the Instant Pot, but WOW, we were impressed!! Our kids agree they taste better and gobble these up egg after egg. Best thing is it's super simple and only takes 15 minutes - 5 minutes to pressurize, 5 minutes cook time, and 5 minutes cold water bath

INGREDIENTS

  • Eggs!
  • Water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour 1 cup water into the Instant Pot and put the rack in
  2. Place as many eggs as can fit, or that you want to make
  3. Press "Egg" setting for 5 minutes
  4. Pressure cook for 5 minutes, then quick release the rest
  5. Using a ladle, transfer to a large bowl or another pot, fill with cold water and let them cool for 5 minutes

Peel the eggs while warm and enjoy! You'll be impressed at how good they come out!
